Posted by Saabfan On Jan - 13 - 2010

The worldwide Saab community is coming together on the same day to show how passionate it is about the brand that General Motors is trying to kill off.

Saab Owners in the UK will be making a demonstration outside the Saab headquarters in Luton and others across Europe will be arriving at the Saab factory in Sweden.

New Year's Resolution (a late one)

Posted by Toby Field On Wednesday, January 28, 2009
I normally come up with a New Year's Resolution and like most people don't stick to it for long. For 2009 I didn't choose one. I couldn't think of a good one and to be honest couldn't be bothered either. However, I've just thought of something I'd like to do and as we're still in January, I'm going to call it a New Years Resolution.

My intention is to go on a sort of detox. A 'sort of' detox I hear you say. Yes. I've decided that I'm going to cut out many of the daily or regular toxins I consume in one way or another which will include certain foodstuffs. For the month of February (4 weeks) I will cut out the following:
  • Coffee
  • Tea
  • Sweeteners (tablet and powdered)
  • Alcohol
  • Tobacco (easy one as I don't smoke ;-) )
  • Chips
  • Chocolate
  • Coke (diet/regular/caffeine free)

If I can think of any other suitable toxins that should be added to the list over the month of February then I'll update this post.

After the month, I'll let you know how I got on. Can I do it? I hope so.
