I was in my local Waitrose store today and stumbled across Pepsi Raw. It was 99p and only available in 300ml glass bottles.

Upon inspection of the bottle it doesn't really explain why it's different other than a mention of natural plant extracts. Not sure what it tastes like yet as I can't drink it until tomorrow because of my detox.

I'll try and remember to write an update once I've tried it.

After starting my detox on 1st February I've not found it too hard. The first day way very hard with no coffee or Coke as that's what I mostly drink. Instead I've been drinking fruit juice or water. Avoiding alcohol and chocolate has been easier than I thought though.

A bonus is that my wife has joined me. She's a smoker so she's not been able to give up smoking, or cut down for that matter, even though I hoped she would. She had a single moment of weakness one week in though and eat a chocolate bar!

So bring on the 1st March I say. To celebrate I may well have coffee and a big piece of chocolate cake!!!

I use Google Reader to keep up to date with all the websites I'm interested in. I don't have to trawl the web or visit my favourite websites for news and information unnessecialry. I subscribe to the website or topic I'm interested in and it all gets delivered to Google Reader. If a story interests me I can visit the website it came from to read the whole thing. Within Google Reader I can also share items with my friends easily and star (save) items for later. Because Google Reader is a web-based browser application, I can pick it up from any computer or mobile device with an internet connection.
